We started to check out our suspension on our SR5 and found our wheel bearings had some play.So we took off the wheels.The hub had play in it.We try to adjust them but still had some movement.We found that the bearings were loose.I called my freind at timken bearing company.I gave carl the specs.And said he would sand me new bearins.So we will wait for the results.May be wed.we will find out we sent the bearings so he could match them up.

Performance parts for joyners. SR2-5 system by Haan racecraft & Silverbulletmotorsports. Has a joint venture to turbo all 2.2-2.4 echo tek motors.Last week we instaled our turbo to our 2.4 SR5.When we dyno it stock it put out 145HP at the wheels.With the turbo it put out 345Hp at the wheels on pump gas.Now when you need power its right thear no turbo lag. And it looks great.They make some system!
JOYNER POWER STEERING SILVERBULLETMOTORSPOTS,NET HAS FOUND THE HYDRAULIC POWER STEERING SYSTEM IS NOT WHAT WE NEED.It DOSNT WORK WHEN YOU NEED IT.With the lockers on it still hard to turn and is to much work to instal.We have been using electra-steers system.Easy to install 2hr.tops . Also no h/p from motor.Much less parts to break or leak.
Silverbulletmotorsports.net We just go back from flagstaff.I though we would test 2 troopers 1 with hydraulic power steering and 1 with unisteer.First lt me tell you that the hydralic system has lots of parts it took us a long time to install it.The unisteer took us about 1hr.It may take you 2 hrs. tops Thear are only 6 parts to install.To shafts the motor and the control unit.The hydraulic kit takes about 4hrs. You have to install hoses from the front to the motor in the back.Then you have to install the pump to the motor.It also takes h/p to run the pump.Just what we can afford to give up.Well back to flagstaff Both systems work what we did not like about the hydraulic system was at slow speed it dident feel like it dident have enough power.Then when we got going it felt to lite at speed 15 to 20 mph.The unisteer system worked as soon as the key was on in 5 seconds.It was just as smooth as silk.It worked perfect at slow and fast speeds. I guess thats why all quads an now the side by sides are using it.Till next time.

We are going to dyno the trooper to see what it has stock.We dyno our renegade stock and it put 29h/p to the rear wheel,s.Lets see what the rear wheel h/p is on our stock trooper. We will install this performance ecu The company who is working on it says it should add at least a 20%increase in rear wheel h/p may be more.Only after the dyno test we will know!!

We have been selling Hydraulic Clutch Conversion Kits for the Vipers, Commando's, Spiders like they are going out of style. But don't worry these are here to stay. Just like the power steering units we have for the Trooper and Vipers. These take the bump steering out so you do not rip your thumbs off when you hit a bump, rock, or go over a tree. ReplyDeleteJoyner is having Troopers and Renegade front rear differentials replaced at no charge to you.We are going to be a joyner warranty center.In the south west we are going to stock the parts for the complete warranty!So you can drive the weekend at Glamas and Butter Cup drop off and pick it up the next weekend.Then you have a reason to ride again. We will try for 24 hours turn around so you can see Yuma and go back to the dunes the next day. We are going to try to have a 48 hour turn around.

ReplyDeleteThere has come a time when bearings are in need. They were so rare to find. People would call here and they would call there, receiving the same reply from the parts guys around the states. Then one lone dealer had a vision and began to come up with the new replacements working together with a large manufacture of bearings we have the replacements you are all looking for. Some are going to be tapered roller bearings, some will be tripple rollers instead of just two sets you now will have three sets of rollers to help carry the weight.
